This is a news presenter for your site.. It can publish latest news for your website regularly. It has a very intelligent admin panel to add/edit and format your news. It automatically prevent caching so visitors always receives the latest news from you website.
Installation:
Just upload the all the swfs, phps and news.txt file in your server. Change the CHMOD Settings of news.txt file to 777.
I don't have php support!
Incase you don't have php support you can't be able to use the admin panel
to edit delete news. You shall need edit the news.txt file manually.
And the other thing you have to do is...
- open up the "news_flasher.fla" file with macromedia flash.
- Right click on the component, (marked with orange color box) and click edit in place. Go to the actions of the component. Find out the text "reader.php" and change it with "news.txt"
Changing Admin Password:
Open the index.fla file in admin folder, go to the first frame of password
layer, open the action panel for frame 1 and then change the value of "password"
Troubleshoot:
Did you change the CHMOD of your news.txt file to 777 ?
If you don't it will not work because the admin panel would not be able to write
down your news in news.txt file.
